I am forwarding some information from the [then-]band manager for Mountain of Venus.
He has given me the go ahead to upload some of their shows to the LMA and has
drafted an official taping and trading policy on the band's website....

Im sending you two shows today 3.13.03 @ Chesters in fayetteville, AR and 8.15.03 at The Berkfest.

Mountain Of Venus has the following taping policy
Live Recording Policy
AUDIENCE taping is permitted from a designated taping section that will be venue-dependent.
SOUNDBOARD taping is permitted by discretion of FOH sound technician.
ONSTAGE taping access is permitted by prior consent of MOV management only.
The following are the standard instructions for onstage taping are meant to ensure that the interference with non-taping concert goers is minimized.
1. Ensure as small a footprint as possible... This includes the size of the mic capsules.
2. Try to ensure your mics are no more that 2 feet high.
3. Please bring enough cabling to put your equipment off the stage to the sides.
4. Provide a copy of the recording made to MOV You can contact our band archivist at archive@mountainofvenus.com
5. Commit to distribute the recordings to the community at large as well as to withhold distribution at the request of MOV
Guest performances by other artists will be governed by that artist's policy. When MOV is performing at a festival or other event featuring multiple bands, that particular event's policies may override MOVs customary recording policies.
Live recording and photography at MOV concerts is authorized for personal, non-commercial use only. Unauthorized sale is strictly forbidden. All Mountain Of Venus performances are the exclusive property of Mountain of Venus LLC. All rights reserved.
